The Purina Animal Nutrition Flock line of products requires special attention each year during the spring, because during this time consumers are especially interested in purchasing chickens. To leverage this opportunity, Purina dealers host Chick Days events. The Chick Days events can be educational programs, family fun activities or speakers VAN LEUVEN Communications works to provide media support at a local and national level for these dealers to gain media support for their events. Since 2009, VLC has supported 1,500 individual dealers to provide a local public relations program.
